Was extremely disappointed today and I will never go back. They attempted more then once to add other services than what I had asked for and didn’t want. I did Not receive what I had specifically asked for. I paid more money then I usually do at the salon I go to, and I got very basic nails done. I’m not happy and I’ll never go back. I was so annoyed at having to pay for what little I had done, I would have loved to stand outside and warn others not to go in. Go elsewhere!Read Less

Pros: affordable, friendly enough staff, clean salon, relaxed atmosphere Cons: actual application of gel nails, airbrush job was sloppy, eyebrow waxing was crooked and very sloppy. I came in for a gel fill and eyebrow wax as a last resort because my first 2 choices of salons were full today. I figured hey a fill and wax should be pretty universal. Wrong! My nails are crooked. The airbrush from my French manicure was speckled and messy. I have build up on the sides of my nails from the airbrush paint. And my nails still felt tacky after being dismissed. My eyebrows are horrible. They are uneven (they weren't uneven going in) and I had tons of tiny hairs that should have been cleaned up left. ...literally the one thing I needed from a wax...a clean up I basically paid $60 to look more busted than when I walked in the door.They also spoke in their native language the entire time!!! That irrirates me!! Any professional salon who wants return customers should speak the most commonly used language to make customers feel at ease. If you arent used to a variety of quality salons, I can understand how this salon could be misconstrued as one. Ive been getting my nails and eyebrows done for the better part of 20th years from oshawa to new york. And let me tell you...this is not a 4 star salon based on actual work done. Never again. One of the nicest nail salons I have been to yet.They remember your name and call you by name which adds that perfect home feeling touch and you feel that you belong. The owners are a husband and wife duo and Super friendly! They are very hard workers and take their job seriously and make sure you are Happy before you leave. They enjoy talking to you and getting to know you better! Unlike other salons where they just want to get the job done. On that note, I will have to add that the quality has gone downhill a bit. I found that their prices vary week per week and they were never consistent. One time I would be paying regular cost, another time I would be paying more and then another time I would somehow and pay less where the customer behind me would have to pay more for getting the same treatment.The booking system needs improvement. Especially when it comes to their regular customers. They say they wrote down the appointment but when the time comes, they forgot and filled your time in with someone else.I did enjoy coming to beauty essentials, however there were too many inconsistencies to keep me as a regular. ( i did not realize this until I got home and researched about what gel nails are) I am furious that they lied to me NEVER GO TO THIS SALON!!!!!! and make sure that if you ASK FOR GEL they are actually putting GEL NAILS ON every nail salon I have been to is LYING to customers and OVER CHARGING THEM !!!!! Don't be fooled, these ladies are SOOO nice to you, they even ask what your name is and call you by name, I was IN LOVE with their service, but the second time I went back and asked to have my previous acrylic nails removed and GEL nails put on , only to get home and realize that they had just put ACRYLIC NAILS BACK ON ME was the end of my time there. She charged me for GEL NAILS AND EVEN CHARGED ME TO TAKE OFF THE PREVIOUS SET!!!!!!! she must have though I was just an idiot! and I even tipped her!!! how dumb am I!!!
